Our Process
Mountain Top Brokerage operates as an independent intermediary connecting surplus industrial materials with qualified buyers. Our brokerage model is designed to simplify the movement of excess inventory while protecting both parties involved in the transaction.
Step 1 – Initial Review
Companies with surplus materials or sourcing needs may submit basic information regarding the inventory or material requirements. This allows Mountain Top Brokerage to evaluate whether the opportunity fits within our brokerage scope.
Typical information requested includes:
- material type
- estimated quantity
- material location
- available documentation
Step 2 – Opportunity Evaluation
Once materials are reviewed, Mountain Top Brokerage evaluates potential opportunities within our network of buyers and sellers. Only opportunities that meet practical transaction criteria are advanced.
This helps ensure both parties’ time is respected.
Step 3 – Qualified Introductions
When a compatible opportunity exists, Mountain Top Brokerage introduces qualified parties for potential transaction discussions.
At this stage:
- buyers may review material specifications
- sellers may provide documentation
- inspections may be arranged if necessary
Step 4 – Transaction Coordination
Buyers and sellers negotiate transaction terms directly. Mountain Top Brokerage remains available to facilitate communication and help coordinate the brokerage process.
All shipping, inspection, payment arrangements, and purchase agreements are handled directly between the buyer and seller.
Step 5 – Completion
Upon successful transaction completion, brokerage compensation is handled according to previously established brokerage agreements.
Important Clarifications
Mountain Top Brokerage acts strictly as a brokerage intermediary.
The company does not:
- take possession of materials
- maintain physical inventory
- act as a distributor
- operate as an escrow service
- hold or transfer transaction funds
- guarantee the sale of materials
All inspections, shipping arrangements, payment handling, and final transaction agreements occur directly between the buyer and seller.
Mountain Top Brokerage’s role is limited to identifying opportunities, introducing qualified parties, and facilitating efficient transactions.
